Ringing in the New Year with Evelise Archer!

An avid reader and story teller, Evelise Archer is living her dream with her loving husband, two dogs and a rabbit. Fueled by desire for a strong cup of coffee and a passion for literature, Evelise began writing to fill the time left empty by her three now grown children.

Eldridge’s Release
Club Rebellion
Secret Cravings Publishing

Eldridge Cristoff worked hard and rarely played, always leery of letting himself go after the humiliation he suffered at the hands of his college boyfriend. Best friend Isabella Catana, submissive and lover of Johnson Petri, invited him to a night at an upscale BDSM club, Club Rebellion-owned and operated by Johnson and his trio of friends. All dominants.

Dalton Peters has never collared his own sub nor had the desire until he met Eldridge. Dalton was immediately taken with the skittish man, deciding to make it his mission to release Eldridge from his sexual prison.

Slowly Eldridge realized the world he was meant to be in. A loving man and master at his side; he discovered submission was not a weakness but a true testament of his strong inner spirit.

With Dalton’s careful guidance, Eldridge had no choice but to give into his desires and heart, allowing Dalton to dominate his body and soul.

Excerpt

He kissed Issy on the cheek and shook Johnson’s hand “El, this is Dalton, one of my partners in the club,” Johnson spoke as he pointed to the man at the far end of the sofa.

Dalton’s grip was strong and solid, Eldridge felt as if he was being surveyed from top to bottom. Dalton looked at him as if he were a bug under a microscope. He crossed over to stand in front of Dalton and extended his hand in greeting.

Eldridge surveyed the man before him with rapt attention. Damn, thought Eldridge, as he eyed the man in front of him. Large was the first word that popped into Eldridge’s mind. Even sitting the man had an imposing figure. Dalton had to be at least six feet, six inches tall. Eldridge wondered if the size of his cock would match his height. His pants become tighter than they already were and his face heated as he continued to stare from beneath his lowered eyelashes. Hair so blond, it was almost white, hung past the man’s shoulders, held back with a leather thong. The strands looked silky. But what really drew Eldridge was the eyes; cobalt blue, piercing, and the kind of eyes that could look straight into a man’s soul. Eldridge shook his head as if coming out of a fog and composed himself. This was a man Eldridge would definitely want to get to know better.

Eldridge didn’t even know if the man was gay. There was no way someone that large and masculine could be gay. And a Dom to boot. Some woman would be very lucky to land that fine specimen of a man.

But Dalton held his hand just a touch to long for a casual handshake, and something sparked briefly in his eyes.

“Nice to meet you, Dalton.”

****

Holy fuck, thought Dalton. When Johnson told him that Issy had talked her friend into coming to the club, he had no idea it would be the beauty in front of him. He actually expected it to be a woman, whom Johnson would expect him to be polite to, for Issy’s sake. Johnson would not expect more, since they all knew he was gay, but he never expected Eldridge.

Dalton thought back to the conversation he’d had that morning with Johnson and the other partners of Club Rebellion. He really needed to pay more attention to the guys when they talked other than business issues.

“Dalton,” Johnson spoke as he stretched his long legs out in front of him. “Issy is bringing her best friend to the club tonight.” Best friend, oh yeah.

“The guy, right?” Dalton answered, barely paying attention.

“Yes, Bro, focus please. You know the guy she’s known since second grade?”

Johnson sounded exasperated.

“What the fuck! You let Issy hang out with a guy?”

“Best friends Dalton and besides have you met my gorgeous woman? Like I’m going to tell her she can’t hang out with her BFF.” Johnson chuckled at his word choice.

Looking at him now, Dalton concluded that Eldridge was not only gay, but submissive, and Dalton would love to get his hands on the cutie. He could picture the man’s plump lips wrapped around his prick, lapping at his precum as he played with the slit. Or better yet, Dalton would love to get a hold of that ass. Even from this vantage point it appeared to be a nice ass.
One that could fit in the palms of his hands, for holding, pounding or spanking.

CODE WORD: Release

Blog Post

2014-  First of all where did 2013 go? I usually don’t make New Year’s resolutions, I never keep them. But, for this year, more writing both collaboratively and solo. I hope to write something more along the 50k mark this year, whether that be solo or collaboratively, I’m still not sure. I love reviewing book so I’ll be keeping up with that on my blog. That’s very important to me. Working and traveling in the summer. And of course staying healthy, happy and in love.

Here’s to an awesome 2014!

Behind the Scenes

Ø How did you come up with the title?

I knew that the book was more about letting go, a release. I waited until almost the end of writing the manuscript before I came up with it. It’s a simple title, but it captures the essence of the book.

Ø Is there a message in your novel that you hope readers walk away with?

The message in my novel is more about trust than sex. I think that sex can be taken very lightly in today’s day and age as well as jumping into a relationship. Sometimes learning to trust can be just as adventurous.

Ø What are your current projects?

I am currently working on a book with fellow author Dakota Trace. I’m also working on edits for a 1Night Stand and the second book in the Club Rebellion series.

Ø Why do you write?

I love the imagination. Ever since I was little, I have always woven a tale- created something out of nothing and entertained. Eventually I decided to put pen to paper and started writing.

Ø How do you think you’ve evolved creatively?

Eldridge’s Release is a work of love, not saying that my other stories are not, but this one has a lot of me in it. I think that this element has helped me to grow creatively. I also researched and wrote in pieces, which I think also helped. I told myself to take your time and don’t rush. There were days where I would put the story aside and then come back to it. As hard as it was to do that, I think it helped and worked.

Ø Do you think that the cover plays an important part in the buying process?

I think the cover is very important. As a reader, it’s the first thing that captures my attention, so I always keep that in mind when the cover artist is laying it out.
