of the Shadows

Wind Pack 1
After kicking his abusive boyfriend to the curb, Joshua
Perry wants nothing more than to focus on his career. He might be drawn to
powerful, dominant men, but he's tired of these guys thinking they own him.
Then his new boss comes strolling into the office, looking good enough to lick,
and the well-dressed alpha tests Joshua's new resolve.
Caleb isn't oblivious to Joshua's interest, but something isn't right. Joshua is distracted, and every time he looks at his phone, Caleb fears his new assistant might pass out right where he stands. He's trying not to push, but every instinct tells him Joshua needs his help. Now, if he can just convince the fiercely independent blond of this, things would be just fine.
Kicking his lover out on the street wasn't the road to freedom Joshua had expected it to be. The Enforcer won't take no for an answer, and he'll go to any lengths to get Joshua back into his bed, no matter how violent. Can Caleb convince Joshua to accept his help before it's too late? Or will Joshua's desire to stand on his own two feet cost him everything in the end?

Blog Post
My New Year resolution hum…. Well I try not to make
those. I like to always challenge myself with goals every day. I do plan on
writing a few more stories in the upcoming year. I have three in the works, Shadow Games
(sequel to Out of the Shadows)
Practically Magic, part of the Cupid Inc Series, and New Moon Dawning a
brand new series the Silver Lake pack.
I feel every day is a chance to really get out there
and make the most of what that day has to offer. I have had a few bumps in the road for my
writing but hopefully the New Year will bring more stories and lots of
characters to form and fall in love with.
CODE WORD: Shadow
Behind the Scenes
Q. What inspired you to write your first book?
A. Love of MM and the Paranormal.
Q. How did you come up with the title?
A. Haha well I admit it, went through many titles
before settling with Out of the Shadows.
I felt it fit. Josh really is coming out of the shadows.
Q. Is there a message in your novel that you hope
readers walk away with?
A. I hope everyone that reads my stories is transported
into them for a few minutes and falls in love with the characters along the
way.
Q. Are there any new authors who have grasped your
interest?
A. I am a huge fan of many authors. Off the top of my head Zayne Michaels and
Skye Dragen are really authors to watch.
Q. What are your current projects?
A. Practically Magic for the series Cupid Inc
Q. Name one person you feel supported you outside of
family members.
A. Wow there is a list here. I would say in all
fairness my friends who are authors. They completely understand what I am going
through, and have been there. Love them
all.
Q. Do you recall how your interest in writing
originated?
A. I used to win awards in school for writing stories
all the time. It would be hard to remember a time I didn’t have a story in my
head or on paper.
Q. Give us an insight into your main character. What
does he/she do that is so special?
A. Josh, he is really average. But he has a strength
inside of himself he is now just exploring. He is learning to stand on his own
two feet and to trust himself and his judgment in people.
Q. Why do you write?
A. Because I love to fall in love.
Q. What made you decide to sit down and actually start
something?
A. Well encouragement, and I believe when a door opens
you should go for it. You really have nothing to lose by trying.
Q. How do you think you’ve evolved creatively?
A. Always expanding my ideas bouncing them off people.
Getting things pinned down, lots of reading too.
Q. What was the hardest thing about writing your latest
book?
A. Grammar. It is not my friend but we are getting to
be buddies now.
Q. What books are you reading at present?
A. Just finished Chained by Evangeline Anderson
Q. Do you think that the cover plays an important part in
the buying process?
A. From an author stand point, I want my cover to tell
a story, for me that is a successful cover one that you look at and it speaks
to you.
Q. What would you say are the main advantages and
disadvantages of self-publishing against being published or the other way
around?
A. Well I can be in control when I self-publish. If I
fail it’s my fault, and if I succeed well I can pat myself on the back but
either way I am driving the bus so to speak.
Flash Round
Q. What is your most cherished possession?
A. My dog Eli he is a Pomeranian
Q. How do you feel about being the center of attention?
A. Shy would rather be the wall flower
Q. What makes you blush?
A. What I write.
Q. How do you feel, generally, about the opposite sex?
A. Men are good very good, I love them so much I even
write about them.
